Hurricane Lane’s First Foals Shine At Goffs

The first foals by triple Group 1 winner and dual Classic hero Hurricane Lane made prices of up to €55,000 at the Goffs December National Hunt Sale.

They were led by Ballincurrig House Stud’s half-brother to Grade 1 winner and Champion Hurdle third Zanahiyr. He was purchased by Knockacool Stables.

Ballycorrigan Stud’s colt out of a full-sister to Thyestes Handicap Chase scorer Invitation Only also proved popular when selling to Garrynacurra Stud for €32,000.

There was also Thistletown Stud’s filly out of a daughter of Flat Listed winner Kitara and she was knocked down to Jamestown House Stud for €21,000.

Hurricane Lane’s first foals have been well received this season, selling for up to €68,000.
