
In-Form Vadamos Posts Trio Of Promising Winners
Gigginstown’s Grade 1-placed novice hurdler King Of Kingsfield (7g Vadamos - Passion Planet, by Medicean) featured among a trio of high-class winners for Vadamos in the space of nine days.
The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding, previously second in the Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle, landed his first chase in fine style at Galway last week, winning by nearly four lengths in the two-mile-and-two-furlong beginners chase.
Following on from that success for the Patrick Turley-bred seven-year-old, Grange Stud resident Vadamos supplied a further two winners in as many days this week.
It's Never Simple (7g Vadamos - Third Dimension, by Suave Dancer) also landed a first chase success when coming home strongly at Roscommon on Tuesday.
Sporting the silks of JP McManus, the seven-year-old was bred by Swordlestown Little. The Martin Brassil-trained runner kept on well to lead in the final strides of the handicap chase, with nearly four lengths back to the third-placed horse.
The trio of winners was completed by Bynx (7m Vadamos - Volcanic Lady, by Invincible Spirit) a seven-length scorer of a handicap chase at Wexford on Wednesday.
A two-time winner over hurdles for Martin Hassett, the Caroline, Mark and Stephanie Hanly-bred mare raced in third behind the clear leader and came clear approaching the final fence to win readily.
