Spycatcher Vadamos Chantilly

More Group Success For High-Class Son Of Vadamos

Spycatcher (7g Vadamos - Damask, by Red Clubs) landed a third Group success when easily winning the Prix de Seine-et-Oise at Chantilly on Monday.

The durable Vadamos gelding was picking up his fifth black-type success for Karl Burke and Highclere Racing, having previously struck in the Group 3 Prix de Ris-Orangis and Prix de Meautry, both at Deauville.

Ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin, Spycatcher tracked the leader and travelled smoothly to take up the lead with a furlong and a half left to run. He readily drew clear to land a four-and-a-half-length victory.

Spycatcher has now won eight times and placed on a further 15 occasions for prize-money of just over £460,000.

He was bred by Tally-Ho Stud.
