Progeny Of Crystal Ocean In Demand At Goffs

The progeny of exciting young sire Crystal Ocean proved popular at the Goffs December National Hunt Sale this week.

Leading the way was Longrove Stud’s half-brother to Listed bumper winner and Grade 2-placed Western Ryder and he sold to Ballytrasna Farm for €75,000. The bay is out of a half-sister to multiple Grade 2-winning hurdler Brewin'upastorm.

The Beeches Stud consigned a colt from the family of Grade 1 Champion Bumper winner Cousin Vinny and he was knocked down to Brooklodge for €41,000.

Crystal Ocean’s recent winning progeny include unbeaten Listed hurdle scorer Highland Crystal and debut Fairyhouse bumper winner Young Rebel.
