Son Of Vadamos Notches Fourth Stakes Win

Spycatcher (7g Vadamos – Damask, by Red Clubs) produced what Karl Burke described as “a great performance” to win the Listed Cammidge Trophy Stakes on his seasonal return at Doncaster.

Held up by James Doyle, the bay was pushed along from two furlongs out and ridden to lead before the final furlong. Despite being bumped by a rival, he kept on well to win by a neck, with another two lengths back to the third.

Sunday marked a fourth Stakes win for Spycatcher, who has twice placed at Group 1 level. The Tally-Ho Stud-bred bay hails from the first crop of Vadamos.
