Vadamos Four-Year-Old Proves Cut Above On Debut

Doubly Blessed (4g Vadamos – Mrs Jay Dee, by Heron Island) made an impressive start to his career when drawing clear in Saturday’s four-year-old maiden at Necarne.

Trained and ridden by Rob James for owner/breeder Noel Dooly, the Vadamos gelding raced prominently on debut and began to draw clear from three out. He extended his advantage to six lengths before the second last and needed little encouragement to lead by 13 and a half lengths on the line.
