Vadamos Gelding Lands First Win Over Hurdles

Fight My Fire (4g Vadamos - Truly Magnificent, by Elusive Quality) got off the mark when readily winning over hurdles at Fontwell on Sunday.

The Joe Tizzard-trained Fight My Fire was sent off a big price to make it second time lucky over hurdles, but the Vadamos gelding kicked clear of his rivals to score by four and a half lengths.

Ridden by Brendan Powell, Fight My Fire was in touch with the leaders and moved up to second with three flights left to jump. The pair led from two hurdles out and won going away.
