Vadamos Gelding Records His First Win Over Hurdles

Race To Base (5g Vadamos – Real Revival, by Milan) took the win on his second start over hurdles when running out an impressive winner of the Novices’ Hurdle at Hereford on Tuesday.

Trained by Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies and ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, the five-year-old tracked the leader before taking command after the fourth flight. He went clear before the last and won unextended over the two-mile trip.

Owned by Mr D.M. Proos and bred by Jimmy Lawler, Race To Base continues a fine run of form for his sire Vadamos, whose progeny have been enjoying increasing success this season.
