Vadamos Gelding Wins Maiden Hurdle With Ease
High Fibre (6g Vadamos – Multi Grain, by Sir Percy) eased clear to justify short-priced favouritism in Friday’s maiden hurdle at Worcester.
The useful flat recruit placed on all his previous starts over hurdles and was partnered by Rex Dingle for the first time on Friday. The bay raced in second for much of the two-mile contest and was shaken up to lead from two out, going on to beat The Great Escape (Getaway) by five and a half lengths.
Bred by Ringfort Stud, the son of Grange Stud sire Vadamos is owned by Gary Stevens and Mrs C Fry.
