Shes Delighted (Vadamos) Wins Her Maiden At Portrush

Vadamos Mare Goes One Better In Good Style

She’s Delighted (5m Vadamos – Deckers Delight, by Tobougg) took another step forward on Saturday to get off the mark in the Portrush maiden for mares aged five and upwards.

A promising fifth on debut in December, the Patrick Turley-trained mare was beaten a length by Order Of Justic (Order Of St George) by a length next time out, the pair drawing 10 lengths clear of the remainder. She was sent off favourite to go one better at the weekend and raced prominently throughout under Declan Lavery. She held a two-length advantage with two to jump and eased clear on the run-in to score by seven lengths.

Owned by Mary Turley and bred by Cashel Rock Bloodstock, She’s Delighted will now be offered for sale.
