
$450,000 Colt for Munnings at Keeneland November
It was a regally bred $450,000 weanling leading the way for Munnings during the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Seeing his dam purchased for $750,000 carrying a foal by Practical Joke, the colt bred by Three Chimneys Farm and Glen Hill Farm was bought by Glen Hill Farm from the Taylor Made consignment.
The colt is the first foal out of Who’s Ticket, a daughter of champion Take Charge Brandi and a half-sister to the stakes winning Courvoisier. This is a strong family top to bottom with Take Charge Brandi is half-sister to three-time Gr.1 winner Omaha Beach and Gr.1 placed Courage Under Fire. One of her sisters also produced stakes winner and Gr.2 placed Tapit Jenallie and stakes placed Take Charge Briana.Take Charge Brandi is also a granddaughter of the great Take Charge Lady, who was a three-time Gr.1 winner and Broodmare of the Year. That mare’s runners include American Pharoah’s Gr.1 winner As Time Goes By, champion Will Take Charge, and Gr.1 winner Take Charge Indy among her eight winners. One of her daughters is also the dam of the Gr.2 winner Charge It to show her influence continues to run through the generations.
