$600,000 Colt for Munnings at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga

Belladonna Racing went to $600,000 to purchase a Munnings colt out of Allez Marie on Monday to lead the stallion’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale offerings.

Offered by Denali Stud, the colt is out of the Grade III placed Allez Marie and sold for $320,000 as a weanling last year. The Stud TNT-bred is a half-brother to five stakes performers with his Gun Runner half-sister Running Away recently winning the Grade III Monmouth Oaks.

Allez Marie is also the dam of stakes winners Workaholic and Legalize and Grade III-placed Tomato Bill and stakes placed Fouette. This colt’s granddam is the Grade I winner Summerly, who also produced stakes placed Kentucky Reign.

In all, there are six stakes winners and 10 other stakes performers on the January-born colt’s page.

Munnings was the sire of four sold from four offered, including $300,000 and $280,000 purchases for an average of $345,000 and median of $290,000.
