$600,000 Corniche Colt Impresses at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga

A Corniche colt caught the eye as the second-to-last hip at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale when purchased for $600,000 on Tuesday.

China Horse Club, Maverick Racing, and First Go Racing were the buyers of the Machmer Hall offering out of Story Untold. That mare is the dam of Grade III winner Arella Rockstar and saw her son Knicks Story register his fourth win after the catalog was released.

Story Untold is a half-sister to Grade III winner Feline Story, who produced the stakes placed Dunk, and three-time winner Ys Dream. This page also includes Grade III winner Notacatbutallama and stakes winners Patootie and Eishin Cameron among others.

Corniche saw his other offering at the sale bring $150,000 with his yearlings averaging $123,606 in 2025, with others selling for $200,000, $185,000, $160,000, etc.
