Golden Pal Represented by Seven Yearlings at Fasig-Tipton July

It’s a group of seven for Golden Pal at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale next week when his first yearlings make their yearling season sale debut.

The very first yearling for Golden Pal through the ring packs a punch when Journeyman Bloodstock Services offers Hip 19, a Florida-bred out of the stakes winning Supercommittee.

Bred by Brent and Crystal Fernung, the filly is a half-sister to two winners out of Supercommittee, who won four races. By The Factor, Supercommittee is a half-sister to the stakes placed Ian Smith with her 3-year-old half-sister Sailaway winning after the catalog was released to take her dam Cry Hallelujah to six winners from six to race.

Cry Hallelujah is a winning half-sister to the Grade I-winning Joha with the pair out of one of three stakes performers out of Unaria.

A colt out of a granddaughter of champion Perfect Sting sells with breeder Shawhan Place as Hip 38.

The colt is out of the winning American Valor, who saw her 4-year-old win again after the catalog was released. American Valor has produced three winners from three to race overall and is a half-sister to the Grade II placed Seeking Albert and stakes placed Rising Star.

Perfect Sting was successful on the track and as a broodmare with the mare winning three Grade Is and producing the Grade III winner Smart Sting in addition to Grade II-placed Perfect Bullet and stakes placed Sweet Sting. Four of her daughters went on to produce stakes performers with Smart Sting producing a stakes performer and seeing her daughter produce Prince of Wales S. winner Vitality. Another daughter produced the stakes winner Doc Boy as well.

Denali Stud offers Hip 42 on behalf of Don Alberto.

The colt is out of five-time stakes winner Bonita Bianca, whose only foal to race is a winner. Bonita Bianca is a third-generation stakes winner as a daughter of Grade I winner Friendly Michelle with that mare producing seven winners from nine to race.

Friendly Michelle is a half-sister to the stakes placed Abba Gold and out of dual stakes winner Valiant Jewel. Abba Gold produced two stakes winners, including Grade II winner Kathmanblu with another Friendly Michelle half-sister producing stakes winner Someplace Else. The first foal out of the multiple stakes placed Royal Engagement sells as Hip 117 with Brookdale.

This February-born colt bred by Horseshoe Racing is out of one of three stakes performers out of winning Indian Charlie mare Indian Cee. A winner herself, Indian Cee saw her 4-year-old win after the catalog was released for updated earnings of $194,257. Indian Cee a half-sister to the dam of multiple Grade III winner Bettys Bambino.

A February-born filly from the family of Grade I winner Capo Bastone sells as Hip 229 with Warrendale Sales.

Bred by Sandra Sexton and Silver Fern Farm, she is the third foal out of Bernardini mare It Justhitthe Wire, whose first runner is a winner at 2 and 3. It Justhitthe Wire is one of six winners out of the Grade II-placed C J’s Leelee, who also produced the stakes placed C J’s Awesome and the dams of Grade III winner Hidden Connection and Grade I-placed Alys Beach among others.

This filly is bred on the prolific Uncle Mo x Bernardini cross that has seen Uncle Mo’s sons find similar success to their sires with mares by Bernardini. They have sired seven stakes winners and 12 stakes performers – including two Grade I winners – from 45 runners out of Bernardini mares.

Warrendale Sales is also the consignor of Hip 241, the second foal out of dual stakes winner Lead Guitar.

Bred by Jim and Susan Hill, the filly sees each of her first six dams either earning black type or producing stakes performers with two doing both. Lead Guitar is out of one of those two, the multiple stakes placed Eleadora, who joins La Bronca, Goliath, and Groot as stakes performers out of Real Vain.

Real Vain registered multiple wins and is a half-sister to 10-time winner – six of those coming in stakes – Almost Time.

The last Golden Pal offering is Hip 243, a colt consigned by Taylor Made Sales.

Bred by Alice Bamford, the colt is out of three-time winner Little Dume. Little Dume is a half-sister to the multiple stakes placed Intanga Rose with the pair out of three-time Grade I winner Intangaroo. Intangaroo has produced seven winners from nine to race with her son Peso registering another win after the catalog was released.

Intagaroo is joined by her dam Tasso’s Magic Roo as stakes winning dams on the page with that one winning three stakes before going on to produce three winners from four runners.
