Six For Golden Pal at Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale

Six yearlings by Golden Pal will go under the hammer this week when the New York-breds get a chance to shine at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale.

The first of those is the Hunter Valley Farm-consigned Hip 302, the third foal out of multiple Grade III-placed Madita.

Bred by Everything’s Cricket Racing, the filly’s dam is one of four winners out of winning Peintre Celebre mare Manita. That mare is still active with her 3-year-old Miss Hollywood placing in Germany after the catalog was released.

This is a strong German family with Manita’s dam the multiple stakes winning Mosquera, who produced multiple stakes placed Mosqueras Romance. Mosquera is also one of four stakes performers from her dam and is a full sister to Grade II-placed Macara. Among her dams other eight winners are also multiple stakes winner Madresal and stakes placed Maramara.

The Thomas Mitchell-bred Hip 438 sells with Taylor Made Sales as a half-brother to three winners from four to race out of After The Glory.

That Unbridled’s Song mare is the dam of More Than Glory, who took her earnings up to $109,101 in July with her three wins including one this year. After The Glory is a half-sister to Canadian Horse of the Year Fatal Bullet and the stakes winning Millennia as two of six winners out of the stakes placed Sararegal.

Sararegal is also the granddam of Munnings’ stakes winning Dancing Duchess, Queen’s Plate winner and Grade III-placed Safe Conduct, and stakes winner Freedom Speaks. Coming from a big Canadian family, the colt’s granddam is also out of the granddam of Pink Lloyd’s dam. Pink Lloyd was a seven-time Canadian champion.

Coming in with multiple updates is Hip 474, a Hidden Brook-consigned filly out of Bourbon Endowment.

That winning Sky Mesa mare has three to race with all three hitting the board in their racing careers with one winning. All three of them have updates with her Tiz The Law gelding Spirit of the Law having updated earnings, her 2-year-old Tuthilltown placing in her debut, and the mare’s 4-year-old Dusk adding another placing to her winning record.

Bourbon Endowment is one of nine winners from nine to race out of the stakes placed Light of a Star, who is a successful broodmare as well. The mare has produced three stakes winners from those nine winners, led by Grade II winner Laura’s Light with the stakes winning duo of Play Action Pass and Barry Lee following close behind. Her 3-year-old winner Sprint Out Pass was added to the page after the catalog was released while her 7-year-old Absolute Chaos has updated earnings of $189,478.

Light of a Star is one of three stakes performers out of her own dam with the other two being multiple Grade III winner Summer Hit and multiple stakes winner Starbird Road.

Golden Pal has two yearlings on offer during the first day of the two-session sale, with his first one on Day 2 going through 37 hips into the session. Find all his offerings here.
