Stakes Winning Wayne’s Law Latest Impressive Tiz The Law Juvenile
Tiz The Law son Wayne’s Law (2c Tiz The Law x Mollie Merisa, by Harlan’s Holiday) jumped right up to stakes company after breaking his maiden last out and didn’t disappoint with a win in the Adventura Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
Racing a mile on the Florida dirt, Wayne’s Law let a pair duel in front of him after he got off a step slow from the gate. Sitting close behind them down the backstretch, he jumped in to make a move on the pair around the turn and mounted his own challenge coming into the stretch.
The duo didn’t have much response for the Tiz The Law juvenile, who early flew past them to win by 7 ¼ lengths at the line.
The victory took the Amador Sanchez trainee’s record to two wins in three starts for owner Baalbek Corporation.
Wayne’s Law is the second stakes performer out of Mollie Merisa alongside the stakes placed Sea Art. The winning Harlan’s Holiday mare has produced four winners from five to race as one of eight winners from eight to race out of her own dam. Mollie Merisa is a full sister to the stakes placed Holiday’s Jewel, who also produced Grade II-placed Caldee.
This is also the family of Grade II winners Paid Up Subscriber and Stanley Park among a page filled with blacktype.
Tiz The Law’s second crop has come out running in 2025 with Wayne’s Law leading a group of 18 juvenile winners and two juvenile Grade I placers – the best of any North American stallion this year.
