
Tiz The Law Colt Brings $775,000 at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic
Tiz The Law’s second crop is proving to be in high demand at sales this year with the stallion’s juveniles including a $775,000 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Old Sale colt.
Purchased by Mayberry from Wavertree Stables on Tuesday, the colt breezed in :10.1 last week before going through the ring on Tuesday. His trip into the ring included an update on the page when his half-brother Native Land placed recently to take his earnings to $204,997.
Native Land is one of three winners from four to race out of the stakes placed Janis’s Joy. That mare is one of seven winners out of the stakes winning Ever Elusive. Others on this page include Uncle Mo’s Grade I winner Arabian Knight and stakes winners Nerve, Connie K, Lithe Spirit, and Saratoga Summer.
In all, there are 10 stakes performers on the page.
Tiz The Law’s 32 juveniles sold this year have averaged $305,406 with his top seller bringing $1.5 million.
