Tiz The Law Colt Sells for $675,000 at Keeneland September

It was the third highest priced offering of the sixth session at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale this week for Tiz The Law when his colt brought $675,000.

The Killora offering bred by Alsalem Stable and The Line Racing sold to Donato Lanni for SF Racing, Starlight, and Madaket late in the session as a half-brother to two winners out of Grade III-placed Bureau de Change. That mare is one of three stakes performers out of Grade III winner and Grade II-placed Fencelineneighbor, who also produced the stakes winning Astronomia and Grade III-placed Nextdoorneighbor.

This family also includes stakes winner and Grade III-placed Fast Delivery and the colt’s stakes winning third dam Let Fly.

The yearling’s dam had a Practical Joke colt this year.

Through the first three books, Tiz The Law has had his yearlings sell for $675,000, $325,000, $250,000, etc. with a $217,500 average for 10 sold and a gross of $2.175 million.
