Another Winning Juvenile For Starspangledbanner

Avicenna (2c Starspangledbanner - Love Potion, by Galileo) kept up the excellent run of form for Starspangledbanner’s juveniles when striking on debut at Doncaster on Saturday.

Trained by Roger Varian, Godolphin's two-year-old was sent off the odds-on favourite and settled behind the leaders before challenging inside the final furlong. He led in the final 100 yards to win by a comfortable length-and-three-quarters.

The colt was bred by Mrs Sue Ann Foley.
