Gleneagles Filly Lands Group 3 Honours at the Curragh

Progressive Gleneagles fillyOne Look(4f Gleneagles – Holy Salt, by Holy Roman Emperor) continued her upward trajectory with a commanding victory in the Group 3 Meadow Court Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

Trained by Paddy Twomey and partnered by Wayne Lordan, the four-year-old travelled strongly throughout the ten-furlong contest before asserting in the closing stages to win decisively. The €80,000 feature attracted a competitive field, but One Look’s class and turn of foot proved vital on the day.

“She’s a filly we’ve always held in high regard,” said Twomey post-race. “She’s improved with age and distance, and we’ve been patient with her. It’s great to see that being rewarded.”

One Look has now won five of her eleven starts, including two Group 3 victories at the Curragh this season. Her versatility and scope mark her as one to follow in the upcoming months.

The Tullpark Ltd-bred filly holds entries in the Nassau Stakes and the Matron Stakes.
