Gleneagles Filly Off The Mark With Decisive Win

Marylene Du Serre (2f Gleneagles - Waleah, by Zoffany) got off the mark when winning by six lengths at Strasbourg on Sunday.

Trained by Tim Donworth, the two-year-old made virtually all under Guillaume Trolley de Prevaux to score by an authoritative six lengths.

Marylene Du Serre became the latest juvenile scorer for Gleneagles, whose other winning two-year-olds of late include the promising Morven, Salonglaenzende and Flosrose.

His leading performers this year include King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud victor Calandagan, Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly scorer Arrow Eagle and dual Group scorer One Look, also third in the Group 1 Prix de l'Opera on Sunday.

Marylene Du Serre was bred by Thierry Lohest and Thierry Storme.
