Promising Starspangledbanner Colt Delivers On Second Start

Amazing Journey (2c Starspangledbanner – Kiss Me Daily, by Reliable Man) built on his promising debut to win Monday’s six-furlong novice stakes at Chepstow.

The Jamie Osborne-trained colt finished fourth at Chelmsford earlier this month and enjoyed a form boost when the winner subsequently finished fourth in the Chesham Stakes. Sent off favourite on his second start, he raced towards the back of the field under Saffie Osborne and was asked to quicken approaching the two furlong marker. He ran on well to lead inside the final 110 yards, going on to win by half a length.

The son of Starspangledbanner is owned by Gallagher Bloodstock Limited and was bred by Fair Salinia Ltd.
