Starspangledbanner a Champion - it’s official

Official handicappers have ranked the brilliant Starspangledbanner (5h Choisir-Gold Anthem, by Made Of Gold) , who has retired to Coolmore in 2011, as a true Champion.

After a season in which he won the G1 Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and G1 July Cup at Newmarket, the son of Choisir Timeform were also impressed with Starspangledbanner, ranking him 2010 Champion Sprinter on a mark of 128.
