Starspangledbanner Juvenile Follows Up In Style

Amazing Journey (2c Starspangledbanner – Kiss Me Daily, by Reliable Man) followed up last month’s maiden victory with a smart performance at York on Saturday.

Jamie Osborne’s charge finished a promising fourth to a now highly-rated colt on debut in early June and progressed to win next time, earning him fvaouritism on Saturday. Settled at the back of the field by Shane Kelly, the Starspangledbanner colt was pushed along in last with two furlongs left to race and soon quickened past his rivals to challenge. Ridden to lead inside the final 110 yards, he won in more comfortable fashion than the winning margin of half a length would suggest.

The progressive juvenile is owned by Gallagher Bloodstock Ltd and was bred by Fair Salinia Ltd.
