Starspangledbanner’s Precise Picks Up Cartier Two-Year-Old Filly Title

Precise (2f Starspangledbanner - Way To My Heart, by Galileo) became the second Cartier Award winner of 2025 for her sire when claiming the Two-Year-Old Filly title.

The Ballydoyle-trained filly had won four of her five starts this term, including when claiming a brace of Group 1 victories in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and Fillies’ Mile.

Precise stepped up from a debut second to win at Cork on her second start in August. She landed her first Group success in the Prestige Fillies' Stakes at Goodwood before finishing her season with two Group 1 wins.

Now general favourite for next year’s 1,000 Guineas, Precise is one of ten top-level winners for Starspangledbanner.
