Colin Bowe Continues Success With Wings Of Eagles

Frost Moon (4m Wings Of Eagles – Coolnasneachta, by Old Vic) made a perfect start to her career in the four-year-old mares’ maiden at Ballyknock on Wednesday.

Colin Bowe’s newcomer was sent off joint-favourite under Barry O’Neill and raced towards the back of the field in the early stages. Making headway from five out, she improved into second before the last and ran on well to lead close home. She scored by a neck, with another three-parts of a length back to joint-favourite Crystal Gold (Crystal Ocean) in third.

Frost Moon continues Bowe’s success with Wings Of Eagles, having trained The Great Nudie (Wings Of Eagles) to win a four-year-old maiden and two hurdles, as well as gaining black-type. The handler's latest winner was bred by Mrs Marea O’Donohoe and cost €62,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale.
