Exciting Debut Win For Wings Of Eagles Gelding At Rathcannon

Majestic Horizon (4g Wings Of Eagles - Mary Wilkie, by Oscar) made an impressive winning debut between the flags when landing the four-year-old maiden at Rathcannon on Sunday.

The Cormac Doyle-trained gelding was well supported before the off and duly stayed on well up the hill to register a two-length win under Shane O'Rourke.

Majestic Horizon is another exciting point-to-point winner for Wings Of Eagles, following on from recent Curraghmore mares maiden scorer Queen Of The Gales and Tinahely four-year-old maiden winner Finisk Pride.

His recent winners under rules include the progressive Leloopa, who struck at Cheltenham’s Showcase meeting by four and three-quarter lengths last month.
