Four-Year-Old Winner Continues Fine Run For Wings Of Eagles

Eagle Warrior (4g Wings Of Eagles – Presenting Proform, by Presenting) took a step forward on his second start to win the opening division of Sunday’s four-year-old geldings’ maiden at Tattersalls.

Colin Motherway’s charge was well-backed on debut last month, when he finished sixth, and was reunited with Mikey Kenneally at Tattersalls. The Sunny South Syndicate-owned gelding made most of the running and maintained his advantage with a fine jump at the second last, keeping on well on the run-in to beat the favourite by five lengths.
