Getaway Four-Year-Old Makes Perfect Start At Ballindenisk

Royale Rocker (4g Getaway – Royale Video, by Video Rock) justified strong market support on debut in Sunday’s four-year-old geldings maiden at Ballindenisk.

Sean Doyle’s newcomer was sent off co-favourite under Jamie Scallan and raced towards the back of the field for much of the race. Taking closer order from three out, the Getaway gelding led before the second last and overcame signs of inexperience on the run-in to score by three lengths. The first two home finished 25 lengths clear of the remainder.

The promising prospect was bred by Cyril O’Hara.
