Getaway Mare Lands Maiden Win At Dromahane

Sworn Duty (5m Getaway - Down By The Sea, by Fourstars Allstar) completed a double for Getaway at Dromahane on Saturday when winning the five-year-old and over mares maiden.

Trained by Paul Pierce, the five-year-old was making her first start since finishing fifth on her only other outing at Curraghmore in April 2024.

Ridden by James Coffey, Sworn Duty took up the lead with two fences left to jump. She came home strongly to win by two lengths.

The daughter of Getaway was bred by Jerry Russell.
