Eastern Rock Order Of St George Toomebridge

Impressive Four-Year-Old Winner For Order Of St George

Eastern Rock (4g Order Of St George - La Belle Sauvage, by Old Vic) looked another exciting prospect for his sire when running out an easy winner of the four-year-old geldings maiden at Toomebridge on Saturday.

The Sam Curling-trained gelding travelled smoothly under David Doyle and moved up to make his challenge four out. He came home to win emphatically by ten lengths, with Fortis Et Liber (by Maxios) taking second spot.

A half-brother to the smart Thunder Rock, Eastern Rock was bred by Mrs O. Hegarty and hails from the second crop of Order Of St George.

The champion stayer has been represented by Grade 2 bumper scorer Seo Linn, the Listed-placed Future Prospect and a multitude of other smart winners in the point-to-point field and under rules.
