Order Of St George Gelding Draws Clear To Bumper Win

Wandering Ego (5g Order Of St George – All The Queens, by Dilshaan) proved a class above his rivals in Friday’s two-mile bumper at Wetherby.

Placed on both his previous starts for Olly Murphy, the Mrs Diana Whateley-owned bay was sent off favourite under Sean Bowen and led from flag-fall. Drawing clear from the three-furlong pole, he was pushed out inside the final furlong to score by eight lengths, comfortably. Point-to-point winner Jimmy Hurdstrom (Order Of St George) claimed runners-up honours, finishing 12 lengths clear of the third.
