Son Of Getaway Makes An Impact On Debut At Ayr

Broadway Ted (4g Getaway - Morning Run, by King’s Theatre) caught the eye when landing the concluding bumper on debut at Ayr on Monday.

The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding travelled strongly in second under Sean Bowen and pressed the leader two furlongs out.

Broadway Ted kept on well inside the final furlong to record a two-and-a-half-length success over Hidden Mountain (by Maxios).

A half-brother to the Graded-placed She's A Fine Wine, the son of Getaway was bred by Ashroe Stud.
