Son Of Yeats Catches The Eye On Second Point Start

Rine Yeats (5g Yeats - Izzygonnacatcher, by Oscar) got off the mark at the second attempt with an eye-catching victory in the five-year-old geldings maiden at Rathcannon on Sunday.

The Brian Hassett-trained five-year-old jumped and travelled well in the hands of Eoin Mahon to strike by six lengths, with Military Saint (by Order Of St George) in second.

Rine Yeats now looks set to be sold at the Tattersalls Cheltenham November Sale later this month.

He was bred by the Connery Family Syndicate.
