Sparkling Debut Win For Daughter Of Getaway

Britway Belle (4m Getaway - Britway Lady, by Norwich) made an impressive start when making a winning debut in the four-year-old mares maiden at Loughrea on Sunday.

Trained by Denis Murphy, the four-year-old produced a striking turn of foot to come from off the pace and win by a length under Shane Cotter. In second spot was Three Mahlers (by Mahler).

The daughter of Getaway is a full-sister to the Grade 1-placed Lord Schnitzel and out of a half-sister to Grade 1 Arkle Novice Chase victor Thyne Again.

Getaway's promising recent winners under rules include the unbeaten Nadia's Boy, six-length debut maiden hurdle scorer Getaway Beo and the promising Good Girl Kathleen.

Another exciting prospect for her sire, Britway Belle was bred by Daniel Cotter.
