Wings Of Eagles Four-Year-Old Brings €155,000
Colin Bowe’s debut winner Frost Moon (4m Wings Of Eagles – Coolnasneachta, by Old Vic) produced a fine return on her investment when selling for €155,000 at the Goffs Punchestown Sale.
Noel Fehily and David Cross landed the winning bid on Thursday, while it was MJC Bloodstock who gave €62,000 for the mare at last year’s Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale. Sent off joint-favourite at Ballyknock last month, she struck late to score under Barry O’Neill.
She continues Colin Bowe’s success with the sire, as he also trains three-time winner and black-type hurdler The Great Nudie (Wings Of Eagles).
