Wings Of Eagles Four-Year-Old Lands Impressive Win

Finisk Pride (4g Wings Of Eagles - Finisk Mist, by Mahler) got off the mark with an impressive win between the flags at Tinahely on Sunday.

Trained and owned by Denis Murphy, the son of Wings Of Eagles was making his second start and made use of his experience in the spring to register a seven-length win.

Finisk Pride raced close to the pace under Shane Cotter and stayed on well towards the finish to get off the mark in the four-year-old maiden.

His dam, Finisk Mist, is a full-sister to the smart The Big Dog (by Mahler) and a half-sister to Grade 3 scorer Saddlers Encore.

The gelding was bred by Kevin Neville.
