Wings Of Swallow (5g Wings Of Eagles – Ask Helen, by Pistolet Bleu) made his second start a winning one, taking Sunday’s Ballynoe maiden for five-year-olds and upwards.

Bred, owned and trained by Donal Coffey, the Wings Of Eagles gelding made a promising debut last month and was reunited with Coffey’s grandson James Coffey on his next attempt. Chasing the leaders in the early stages, he asserted after the second last and was driven out on the run-in to beat Follow My Order (Order Of St George) by three lengths.
