The popularity of Jack Christopher yearlings looks to continue in coming days when 26 go under the hammer at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale from October 20 to 23.
A New York-bred half-sister to Grade I winner Tripoli bred by Stonewall Farm sells as Hip 132 with Hunter Valley Farm.
The pair are out of Tapit’s stakes placed Love Train, who has produced four winners from her six to race part of a trio of successful broodmares out of Grade II winner Touch Love. That mare produced multiple stakes winner Starfish Bay, who went on to produce stakes winner and Grade II placed Blind Ambition and the dam of champion Little Arabella. Meanwhile, another of Touch Love’s daughters is the dam of Grade II placed Parnelli.
Touch Love didn’t only produce successful broodmares but was also a successful broodmare with nine winners hailing from the mare as well.
Wynnstay, H. Allen Poindexter and Sharon Cannon bred Hip 651 out of Star of Gallantry with Wynnstay Sales also consigning the colt.
Star of Gallantry has quickly become a successful broodmare thanks to both her foals to race winning stakes with eight-time winner Carimba winning the Pan Zareta Stakes and Enbarr the Capote Stakes. The Warrior’s Reward mare was one of seven winners out of her own dam with the stakes placed Lucinda K producing Grade III winner Moonwalk, stakes winner and Grade II placed Thatswhatimean, and Grade III placed Atswhatimtalknbout.
Lucinda K’s placed daughter Here Comes Lucinda also produced Grade I winner Stormy Lucy and the dam of Grade II winner Big Runner. In all, four of Lucinda K’s daughters are the dams of granddams of stakes performers.

Bred by Drumkenny Farm and American Equistock, the colt’s Giant’s Causeway dam is out of the multiple stakes placed Fleet Of Foot. Out of Seattle Classic, Fleet of Foot has kept the tradition of producing top racehorses alive as the dam of multiple graded stakes winner His Race to Win and the two-time winning dam of champion and Grade I winner El Tormenta. El Tormenta is also a half-brother to the dam of Justify’s stakes winning Parenting.
