Three Jack Christopher Yearlings Carry Momentum to Fasig-Tipton Saratoga
The sire of the Fasig-Tipton July sale topper last month, Jack Christopher has three yearlings set to light up the ring at next week’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale.
Eaton Sales is the consignor of the first Jack Christopher yearling through the ring with Hip 28.
Bred by Twin Magnolia Farm and Castle Park Farm, she previously sold for $130,000 at Keeneland November last year and is the first foal out of winning Into Mischief mare Yes to Mischief. That mare is one of six winners out of Ricketyracketyruss. Ricketyracketyruss herself was a winner and is a half-sister to Grade III winner Broken Dreams and dual stakes winner Gran Leon. Broken Dreams produced Grade II winner Caribou Club.
Ballysax Bloodstock is the consignor of Hip 43, a half-brother to the stakes winning I Got Game.
The first stakes winner for stakes winner Baby Nina, I Got Game is one of two winners overall out of the mare. Bred by Sunset Ridge Farm in New York, the colt’s dam is one of three stakes winners out of Whitelacenpromises alongside Dubacious and Silver Tongued. After the catalog was released, Whitelacenpromises saw her count go up to seven winners from eight to race when Calorese broke his maiden. Under this colt’s third dam is another stakes winner in the multiple stakes winning Muir Woods.
A Rock Ridge Thoroughbreds-bred colt out of the stakes placed Girl Talk is the final Jack Christopher offering through the ring when selling as Hip 106 with Taylor Made Sales Agency.
Girl Talk has two to race and is the dam of American Pharoah’s winning daughter Victory Girl. By Medaglia d’Oro, Girl Talk is one of two stakes performers out of Grade II winner One Caroline alongside Improv.
One Caroline is joined by the stakes placed Powder Princess as stakes performers out of Broad Brush’s stakes winning Powder and one of two stakes producers out of that mare alongside Sexy Zamurai. That mare produced multiple stakes winner Master Fencer and stakes winner Top Divo. This is also the extended family of champion St. Jovite.
Jack Christopher’s Fasig-Tipton July yearlings averaged $162,778 with a $150,000 median. His yearlings all sell during Monday’s session of the Saratoga sale, kicking off at 6:30p.m.
