Australia Juvenile Makes Winning Debut at Chantilly

The well-bred Gentlemanlike (2c Australia – Samskara, by Kodiac) made a highly promising start to his career when landing the Prix du Fosse La Coque (1400m) at Chantilly on Sunday.

Owned and trained by Igor Endaltsev, the Al Shira’aa-bred colt travelled strongly throughout under Pierre Bazire before quickening smartly to win by 4 lengths on debut.

Gentlemanlike looks another exciting prospect for Australia, who continues his stellar season following Lambourn’s victories in the Epsom and Irish Derbies, and Cercene’s triumph in the Gr.1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
