Blackbeard’s First Yearlings On Show At Tattersalls

Two yearlings from the first crop of dual Group 1-winning juvenile Blackbeard will sell at next week’s Tattersalls December Yearling Sale.

Ballyhimikin Stud will offer a half-brother to last year’s Listed Flying Scotsman Stakes winner Benevento, a son of Group 2-winning and Group 1-placed Pollyana. It is the further family of Group 2 Sandown Mile winner and Group 1 Champion Stakes runner-up Rob Roy.

Boherguy Stud’s colt is out of a Galileo sister to Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes victor and Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes runner-up Telescope.

The page also includes champion three-year-old Moon Ballad and Group 1 Italian Derby winner Central Park.
