£135,000 Maxios Mare Heads To Henderson At Tattersalls Cheltenham

Maxios Des Champs (4m Maxios - Numero Huit, by Robin Des Champs) was among the six-figure lots at the Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale on Friday when selling to Jerry McGrath and Nicky Henderson for £135,000.

Consigned by Eamonn Doyle’s Mossy Fen Stables, the four-year-old had made the perfect start to her career with a length-and-a-quarter victory at Boulta last month.

A half-sister to the multiple winning Major Fortune, the Maxios mare’s page also includes Grade 1-winning novice hurdler Minella Cocooner and Grade 1 Punchestown Gold Cup victor Merry Gale.
