Eye-Catching Debut Win Between The Flags For Maxios Gelding

Border Lad (5g Maxios - Sunshine Haven, by Sunshine Street) led home a one-two for Maxios with a clear-cut win in the five-year-old geldings maiden at Aghabullogue on Sunday.

The Tom Keating-owned and trained gelding was making his first start between the flags and came home by 25 lengths for a comprehensive success over High Kick Kev.

Ridden by Chris O'Donovan, the son of Maxios was positioned prominently and went clear from two fences out to come home in splendid isolation.

Border Lad was bred by Maurice O'Brien.
