Maxios Filly Makes The Perfect Start To Her Career

Katios Queen (4f Maxios - Katalina, by Hernando) made the perfect start to her career when winning a bumper at Fontwell on Sunday.

The Dan Skelton-trained four-year-old was settled in rear under Tristan Durrell and took up third spot from three furlongs out. She led over a furlong out to claim victory by three-quarters of a length.

Katios Queen is the latest promising winner for Maxios, following in the footsteps of recent scorers Cousin Kate, Celestial Tune and Maximillian Lady.

His leading performers are headed by the top-class Gaelic Warrior and Quilixios.

Katios Queen was bred by Mrs R I Vaughan.
