Maxios Four-Year-Old Leads Them Home At Loughanmore
Max’d Out (4g Maxios – Max’s Flame, by Fame And Glory) took a step forward on his second start to win the four-year-old maiden at Loughanmore on Easter Monday.
The Matthew Flynn O’Connor owned and trained bay had shown promise on debut at Dromahane, but his chances went when badly hampered at the third last. He enjoyed better luck on Monday, travelling well throughout and went on to score by six and a half lengths, with another 13 lengths back to the third horse.
Bred by Close Holding Ltd, Max’d Out hails from Maxios’ first crop conceived at Castlehyde Stud. That same crop produced an exciting prospect the previous day, with I’m Slippy taking the valuable George Mernagh Sales Bumper at Fairyhouse.
