Maxios Geldings Dominate In Four-Year-Old Maiden

Cooltobecareless (4g Maxios – Honours Stride, by Red Ransom) led home a 1-2 for Maxios in the second division of Sunday’s four-year-old maiden at Lisronagh.

Fresh from winning the first division with Cristal D’Estruval (Crystal Ocean), Colin Bowe and Barry O’Neill reunited for newcomer Cooltobecareless, who tracked the leaders from an early stage. Ridden from the second last, the bay led before the final fence and kept on well to beat the favourite Hot To Go (Maxios) by a length. The pair of Maxios geldings finished 12 lengths clear of the third horse.
